The Consulate General of China in Karachi held the Spring Festival Reunion with the participation of more than 60 representatives of oversea Chinese and Chinese companies in the consular area on January 23, 2024.

Consul General H.E. Yang Yundong extended best wishes for the Spring Festival, briefed the achievements of China's development and the spirit of the Central Conference on Work Related to Foreign Affairs, pointed out that China-Pakistan relations have further development and the vision of the China-Pakistan community with a shared future has been deeply rooted in people's hearts over the past year. Oversea Chinese and Chinese companies in the consular area have made positive contributions to carrying forward the traditional friendship between China and Pakistan and promoting bilateral exchanges and cooperation. CG Yang hoped that they should continue to enhance their security awareness, actively integrate into the local community, contribute to the cause of national reunification and achieve better development. The Consulate General will take "diplomacy for the people" as its guiding principle to provide relevant services.

The Consulate General distributed "Spring Festival Warming Packages" to the oversea Chinese. They appreciated the care from motherland, and expressed that they would continue to gather strength and keep forge ahead, making greater efforts to promote the high-quality development of China-Pakistan relations and achieve the rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.

The performance was wonderful and the atmosphere of the activity was warm and enthusiasm.
