Consul General H.E. Yang Yundong attended the 2023 Media Awards Ceremony on January 17. More than 50 people from the media, including Jang Group, Business Recorder, The Nation, Tribune Express, as well as Karachi Press Club and Karachi Editors Club, attended the ceremony.

CG Yang introduced the spirit of the Central Conference on Work Related to Foreign Affairs, stressed that China is advancing Chinese modernization through high-quality development, actively contributing to the building of a community with a shared future for mankind, and bringing countries together to meet challenges and achieve prosperity for all. It is hoped that Pakistan media will continue to actively report on China-Pakistan cooperation in various fields and create a more positive public opinion atmosphere for the development of China-Pakistan relations. CG Yang presented commemorative medals to the journalists and appreciated their important work in reporting China and China-Pakistan relations.

The media journalists spoke highly of China's development achievements and expressed their willingness to give full play to their respective advantages actively and comprehensively report on China and China-Pakistan relations and work relentlessly to enhance the iron friendship between the two countries.
