New Chinese CG in Karachi Paid Courtesy Calls on Sindh CM and Governor

On January 6th, new Consul General of People’s Republic of China in Karachi Mr. Li Bijian paid courtesy calls on H.E. Syed Murad Ali Shah, Chief Minister and Imran Ismail, Governor of Sindh province of Pakistan respectively. Mr. Chen Xiaodong, Deputy CG and Mr. Guo Chunshui, Commercial Counselor attended.

Li said China and Pakistan enjoy long history of friendship and already established all-weather strategic cooperative partnership. China attaches great importance to Sino-Pak relations, he looked forward to deepening cooperation in the construction of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) in Sindh and bringing well-beings to the local people. Murad and Ismail both welcomed the arrival of Li in Karachi, pledged the provincial government to support the work of Chinese consulate and the construction of CPEC as well as further enhance bilateral relationship.
