Those who meet the following requirements may submit their visa applications to the Chinese Visa Application Service Center (Karachi).

I. Those who holding Chinese residence permits for work, personal matters and reunion

If the above three categories of residence permits held by foreign nationals expired after 0 a.m., 28 March 2020, the holders shall apply for relevant visas by presenting the expired residence permits and relevant documents (please refer to Instructions on Application for Visa for China) to the Gerry's Visa Center on the condition that the purposes of visiting China remain unchanged. The Invitation Letter (TE) or the Invitation Verification Form from the foreign affairs office or the commercial department of the Chinese provincial government are not required.

II. Resumption of work and production

The applicant shall provide the Invitation Letter (TE) or the Invitation Verification Form from the foreign affairs office or the commercial department of the Chinese provincial government. If the spouse and children under the age of 18 need to visit China along with the applicant, all of their names should be included in the Invitation Letter (TE). If the applicant's residence permit has expired or is about to expire, the valid original card of Foreigner' s work Permit should be provided. To apply for working visa for the first time, the Notification Letter of Foreigner's Work Permit shall be provided.

III. Technology or business cooperation

The Invitation Letter (TE) or the Invitation Verification Form from the foreign affairs office or the commercial department of the Chinese provincial government should be provided. If the spouse and children under the age of 18 need to visit China along with the applicant, all of their names should be included in the Invitation Letter (TE). For other documents needed, please refer to "Instructions on application for visa for China" on the Consulate website.

IV.Humanitarian needs

For visiting critically ill patients in China, please provide proof of relationship within three generations (including marriage certificate, birth certificate, certification of kinship issued by Public Security Bureau or notarized certification of kinship, etc.) and the critical illness certificate from the hospital. For attending funerals in China, please provide proof of relationship within three generations and the death certificate.

V.R Visa

The applicant should submit relevant certification in accordance with relevant regulations, and meet the relevant requirements of the competent authorities of the Chinese government on high-level talents and individual with special skills urgently needed by China.If the spouse and children under the age of 18 need to visit China along with the applicant, the certificate of family relationship are required.
